Dr. Elsa M. Redmond of the American Museum of Natural History will present a lecture entitled "Investigating Early State Formation in Oaxaca, Mexico" on Tuesday, November 10 at 4:15 pm, in Dalton 300.
was elected to the National Academy of Sciences in 2014. She has conducted field research in the Oaxaca Valley since the 1970s, and earned her Ph.D. from Yale University.
