Graduate Student Hilde Nelson Curates Exhibit at the Fabric Workshop and Museum
Hilde Nelson, a fourth-year graduate student, has curated for the Fabric Workshop and Museum, where she is a curatorial fellow.
On display until June 14, Some American Dreams explores the complexity of American-ness through lenses of history, memory, and mythology. The museum posted an with Hilde about the exhibition on its website.
Nelson's work at the Fabric Workshop and Museum is funded by a McPherson Curatorial Fellowship granted by Bryn Mawr's Graduate Group in Archaeology, Classics, and History of Art.
In February 2025, Nelson represented Bryn Mawr and presented a talk entitled 鈥溾橭ther Than What Is Given鈥: Interrupted Visuality in Ja鈥橳ovia Gary鈥檚 The Giverny Suite鈥 at the at the Barnes Foundation.
In addition to its undergraduate program in the history of art, Bryn Mawr offers an A.B./M.A. program and a Ph.D. program.
