Religious and Spiritual Life presents a lecture and conversation with Prof. Fareen Parvez, Assistant Professor of Sociology at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, about jinn (spirit) possession through lens of faith and healing. Participants will learn an introduction to faith healing and jinn possession in an academic context, and follow with a more informal group discussion with questions.
