Historicizing and Living Everyday Black Studies: Preserving Histories and Charting Futures
Please join the Bi-Co Africana Studies programs for a special panel next Tuesday evening, April 21, 2026, from 6-8pm, featuring Dr. Joseph Nelson (Swarthmore College) and Dr. Keisha-Khan Perry (University of Pennsylvania).
This event is grounded in the spirit of reinvigorating our collaboration across campuses as we reflect on the long legacy of Africana Studies in the Bi-Co, its present iterations, and future imaginings. Our colleagues, from the Quaker Consortium, will share their insights, expertise, and journeys through Black Studies program building, in a conversation that will undoubtedly enrich us all.
We look forward to you joining us in Lutnick Library, at Haverford College. Dinner will be served at 6pm, and the conversation will begin at 6:30pm. Please share with anyone you think might be interested!
±©·ç×ÊÔ´ welcomes the full participation of all individuals in all aspects of campus life. Should you wish to request a disability-related accommodation for this event, please contact the event sponsor/coordinator. Requests should be made as early as possible.
