The members of Bryn Mawr鈥檚 incoming STEM Posse visited campus recently to get a taste of what the next four years of their life will be like. While on campus, the students worked in the lab with Biology Department faculty members Peter Brodfuehrer and Jennifer Skirkanich.
The STEM Posse scholars explored the topic "Taste: From Molecules to Behavior" using techniques of molecular biology and neurophysiology.
Bryn Mawr has been a partner of the since its founding in 1989. The College now welcomes two Posses to campus each year. The STEM Posse comes from the College鈥檚 original partner-city Boston and another Posse is made up of students from Houston.
